Kamnina collects no personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and nothing to buy; the app requests no Android permissions and never opens a network connection. Your collection, your wishlist and your notes stay on your handset.
Kamnina is made and published by AP Gorica d.o.o., a company registered in Slovenia, which releases its apps under the name LumenOak Studios. Under the General Data Protection Regulation and Slovenia's Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2), that company would be the controller for any personal data the app processed. It processes none, so the role stays empty.

The private notes you attach to a specimen are free text, and collectors often write down where and when they found a stone — which makes a set of notes, over time, a map of somebody's favourite places. Those notes are saved only in the app's own private storage on the handset. They are never uploaded, never read by us, never analysed and never shared. The app does not add a location to them on its own; whatever is in a note, you typed.

The completion ring is worked out from that list each time you open it; nothing else is stored. No name, email address, contacts, location, advertising identifier or device identifier is involved at any point, and the file never leaves the phone.
Every photograph in the catalogue ships inside the app. Kamnina does not use the camera, does not read your photo gallery, and does not try to identify a stone from a picture you take — so there is no camera or storage permission, and no image of yours ever leaves the phone because none is ever touched.
Kamnina describes minerals and gemstones in general terms. It cannot identify a particular specimen with certainty, cannot tell a genuine gem from a simulant or a treated stone, and cannot tell you what anything is worth. Please do not rely on it to buy, sell or insure a stone; that takes a qualified gemmologist with the stone in hand.
Many protected areas, nature reserves and private lands do not allow stones, minerals or fossils to be removed, and some species of rock and cave formation are protected by law. The app describes where minerals tend to form; it does not suggest that you may take them from wherever you find them. Please check the local rules before you pocket anything.
No advertising library, so no dealer or jeweller advertising and no advertising profile of any kind. No analytics library and no crash reporter, so no usage events, session logs or crash traces leave the handset — we do not know what is in your collection. No billing library, so no specimen, family or feature sits behind a price. No account, no sync, no marketplace, no sharing.
Kamnina requests no Android runtime permissions: not camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or notifications.
None. The whole catalogue, both languages and the photographs are compiled into the download, so the app opens no connection to our servers or to anyone else's and behaves identically in aeroplane mode.
Installing or updating Kamnina is a transaction between you and Google, handled under Google's own privacy policy and its agreement with you. What reaches us is the aggregated, anonymous developer console view — installs, ratings, country totals — which identifies nobody.
If a future version ever touches the network, this page is rewritten before that version is published and the change stated plainly.
Collecting stones is one of the oldest childhood hobbies, and the app is written for a general audience. Since nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children, and there are no adverts, no chat, no sharing, no links out and nothing to buy.
The General Data Protection Regulation and ZVOP-2 give you the right to ask whether your personal data is processed, obtain a copy, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority. Every one of those needs data in our hands, and there is none — we will confirm that in writing if it is useful for your records.
Your collection, wishlist and notes are removed by clearing them in the app, clearing the app's data in Android settings, or uninstalling Kamnina. Because nothing is synced, they cannot be recovered by us or moved to a new phone for you — they exist in one place, which is what keeps them private.
Complaints may be addressed to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si) or to the supervisory authority where you live, though a note to us usually settles things sooner.
This page is updated only when the app changes in a way that affects privacy, and the date near the top changes with it. Builds already installed keep behaving exactly as described.
A photo that shows the wrong mineral, a hardness you would argue with, a privacy question: zbirka@apgorica.living, read by the person who wrote the app, usually answered within a couple of days. We cannot identify or value stones by email. Pišete lahko tudi v slovenščini.
